My trip to Santa Fe has come to an end and I’m happy to report I had a good time exploring the colorful town. I will say that the actual photo workshop (the whole reason I was there) wasn’t super beneficial to me learning-wise. But in terms of meeting other great photographers and getting to play with my camera for a week, that part was great. And not that I wouldn’t recommend the Santa Fe Photo Workshops as a whole, I definitely would. I just think I should have challenged myself a little more when choosing a class.
ANYWAYS. Here’s my last blog post of a hodge-podge of photos from the last 2 days in Santa Fe.

The class spent an afternoon at the Chimayo Santuario, a really pretty, historic church. Funny enough, no photos were allowed inside the church. That was fine with me, because I’d been waiting all week for an excuse to bust out my sketchbook. I spent about 40 minutes in the church sketching. It was very peaceful. 
We went down to the Plaza one night to get some night shots. No flash or anything in these pics, all of them were shot with available light. This was a good exercise.
I would recommend Santa Fe to people who love color, texture, art and amazing guacamole. 😉 I would recommend Santa Fe Photo workshops to anyone wanting a intensive week of photography. Just make sure you read the class description and pick a level and topic that fits where you are in life.
