Scenes: February | Boston Photographer

Oops, I’m a few days late posting these pictures from February. I don’t remember what order these photos should go in so here they all are at once. It snowed a couple times. We’re lucky in that our town doesn’t think our street is a real street, so we end up shoveling it out ourselves. (sarcasm. it’s actually annoying, as you can imagine.)
We ventured to a nearby trail to enjoy some nice weather days. I miss spring. Come soon, please.
Our Valentine’s Day tradition since 2010 is to make heart shaped pizzas. It’s the silliest, but so yummy and fun. I clearly forgot to take photos of the finished product, probably because we ate it too fast 😉

My parents came to visit and we hung in the North End one chilly Saturday afternoon. Ate some North End pizza, ate some North End cannoli, had some North End fun. I love the North End if you couldn’t tell. Having an office has been so ideal. My friends Jessi and Via came over one afternoon and we took a ton of marketing images for Milestone Church. It was so great to actually have a nice space to do that in!

Speaking of church, my church hosted an IF Gathering Conference. I’d never been to anything related to IF before, so this was a great experience. Plus I got to make a pretty cool backdrop for the stage.

Mom came to visit for an afternoon. We went out for lunch and stopped by the office so she could see the finished product (photos are coming soon, promise). We also #shoppedlocal at Pinestraw and the Common Cafe.

I got to photograph a minimal chic styled shoot at the TCAN (Center for Arts Natick), with a group of kickass women wedding vendors. And modeled by my college roomie, Sarah! It was so fun. I love collabing with creatives and making images that help them further their businesses. I’ll be posting more from this shoot soon!

We had some pretty wonderful weather days and I took full advantage by sitting on our porch and lingering outside the pool deck, watching the sun set until the very last minute when I had to go coach 😉 Speaking of coaching, this was a crazy month for swim team! A swim meet almost every weekend, plus prepping for Champs weekend. I’ll tell you more about that in the Scenes: March post though.

I had the pleasure of photographing many fun and inspiring humans. Can’t wait for what March brings!

Did Nate give you the pizza heart Valentines card again?? 😀 My dad actually gives my mom (or the other way around, I’m blanking!) the same valentines card every year! For like 20 years. It’s a homemade one, with red paper and one of those lacy paper doilies. Nate can just keep giving you the card (and he has two to choose from!) and add a new note!

we branched out to different cards this year haha!
