Stephanie Rita Photography Best of 2015 | Families + Portraits

Hi friends! Here we are, at the END of 2015! As a small business owner, at the beginning of each year I tend to have anxiety about whether or not my business is even going to make it through the next year. Yes, maybe I overreact, but that’s just the truth. ANYWAYS the point is, that exact thing happened this year, and for a while I was pretty discouraged. But then April came and the snow finally melted. That seems like a random fact, seriously, from that point on, I had one of the very best years of my little photo biz! Here are some thoughts! 🙂

As I was going through images from every single session from the last 12 months, I realized that PORTRAITS were a huge theme this year! Between my first ever headshot marathon in April (which will most definitely be happening again in 2016), multiple senior photo sessions and working with a lot of talented fashion bloggers in the area, my portrait work more than doubled and I really loved every minute of it.

And the FAMILIES! Oh the families. My little photo family families. I can’t thank you enough for trusting me with your milestones and your every days, your calm moments and your tickle fights. I love capturing your new beginnings and the love you’ve had for a long time. Thank you for including me in your lives! I know I sound sappy, but I just have to say thank you!

“Remember the little things”. That is my WHY. That is WHY I take photos. I don’t take photos for myself, I take them to help you remember your little things in life!
