“You make my heart feel like its summer
When the rain is pouring down
You make my whole world feel so right when it’s wrong
That’s how I know that you are the one”

Sam and Andrew were married on the most beautiful fall day in Southern New Hampshire! I’ve known Sam since we were nerdy little band geeks in middle school 🙂 so you can bet it was special to watch her finally marry her best friend!
Andrew is kind, funny and – just by the way he looks at her – you know that he loves Sam with his whole heart. When Sam cuddles up in Andrew’s arms, you can tell that it’s her very favorite place to be. Together they are sweet, silly and have a lot of fun. Their fall-themed wedding was filled with meaningful moments (like Sam’s dad singing to them during the ceremony) and all their closest family and friends were in attendance!
Sam and her girls had their hair done at MJD in Keene, and then moved down the street to the United Church of Christ (aka: the big white church at the head of the square) to get ready! The light in the space was pretty awesome!
Before she got into her wedding gown, Sam spent a few moments reading a special note from Andrew.
Flower girl Sarah tried on Sam’s veil and it was so adorable and happy!
I really love this frame!
This picture makes me laugh. Sarah was a little bored while all the older girls were finishing up the ‘prep’ process.
This was a lucky moment. I had just stepped back into the room after taking a couple photos of Andrew, and saw that Sam was putting her veil on. The sun was just gorgeous and streaming through the curtains and her veil! Right after I snapped the left image, I knew that it would be perfect in black and white.
Andrew wanted to make sure that Sam knew he was wearing this certain watch (which may have been more of an inside joke then a sentimental thing? I’m not sure), but I showed her the photo anyways and she laughed!
The UCC has a great, bright, detailed sanctuary and it was a dream to photograph in.
At first Andrew was composed, but ‘the feeling’ hit him when Sam was about halfway down the aisle, and then this happened.
Sam was pretty emotional as her dad sang them a beautiful song during the ceremony.
There was a special part of S+A’s ceremony where they planted a small tree. They used dirt from her hometown and his hometown, and combined the two to symbolize their two families coming together. I really love this idea!
MARRIED!! <3
Sam’s parents had their wedding portraits taken on this gazebo, so S+A wanted to honor them by doing the same!
A. Can we talk about how beautiful these ladies are? and B. How AMAZING does the purple and orange look together!!
Thanks for being a super fun group!
The one photo Sam requested was a picture of her and her new husband underneath her long veil! And then we created what I call the Money Shot. Fave!!
The left frame is also one of my favorites!
I’ll just say what you’ve all been thinking: LOOK at those LEAVES!! I mean, the couple is pretty nice looking, too 😉
For the reception, Sam left no detail untouched. So much fall, so much orange and purple, so much GORGEOUSNESS! In these little boxes were flower bulbs for their guests to plant when they got home.
The speeches were great!
The DJ had a couple games up his sleeve to get the crowd going. Ironically, the two finalists in this game are also really good friends (and friends of my from childhood!) Alex + Alyssa, you are awesome 😉
S+A let me know that this dip was going to happen, so I was ready!! I really enjoy hearing what first dance songs my couples pick. You can listen to Sam and Andrew’s unique one by clicking the link at the top of this blog post! I honestly don’t remember what was happening here, but I LOVE this photo!
Sam + Andrew, you two are wonderful and so fun to be around! I hope you’ve loved this sneak peek! <3S
