I had the honor of photographing C+J’s wedding day in early June. Despite reports for rain, the skies stayed clear and the day was lovely. When I first met C+J, they told me about their ever-since-middle-school-romance (and how C said no the first time J asked her out). But over the many years since then, their love has grown and their wedding day was a gorgeous way to celebrate the continuation of their lives together.
The day started at the Silver Fountain Inn and continued to the Rivermill at Dover Landing, both in Dover, NH. Dover is a cute little New England town with lots of historic charm, which is why C+J picked it! Their outdoor ceremony was filled with Spanish traditions to honor C’s heritage: The coin ceremony, when they traded coins and promised to always support each other, and the veil ceremony, when C’s parents wrapped her veil around them both to symbolize them becoming one unit. Both were very special to witness.
