Taylor + Brent // Married! | Intimate Backyard Wedding

Taylor and Brent’s wedding day was a joyous one! For these two, who have been together for many years, it was a day to solidify their love for each otherย and their three little kiddos. And what the perfect place to do it, in the backyard of Taylor’s childhood home. I think one of my favorite memories was the expression on Taylor’s face as she saw her son at the end of the aisle once her and Brent had been pronounced man+wife. You’ll know what picture I’m talking about when you see it!

I love the bright summery colors they picked out for their flowers.

Taylor’s dress was amazing, and she let me in on a little secret: She ordered it from Zappos.com! What!

T+B had a fairly small wedding, with only close friends and family. I love that I could tell everyone knew everyone! It was a very chill environment, and those are the best, especially on a wedding day!

This family is full of adorable kiddos!

Picture on the right: THAT’S the moment I was talking about! How so stinkin’ sweet!

Almost immediately after the ceremony we snuck off to the back of the backyard and proceeded to take some lovely pictures. Earlier in the day, Taylor mentioned I might have to crack some jokes to get Brent to smile, but he definitely did a great job on his own! It was his wedding day, after all ๐Ÿ™‚

Soon after, little Rhys came over to join the fun. (Their twin 6 month old girls were both taking naps at this point, so they weren’t in these ones!)

And then Rhys was all like “I’M coming over there to take the pictures!” =) How adorable.

And then the pizza pie, sangria, & Gushers-filled celebration began! Seriously, if you want to be awesome, hire a PIZZA TRUCK to be your CATERER. (Can you tell I’m in love with this idea?! Equally in love with The Chunky Tomato‘s amazing pizza!)

It was SO hot out that first weekend in July, like probably mid-90s. T+B set up a pool and a sprinkler for the kids (and adults!) to cool off with! What a great, fun idea.

Hay rides courtesy of the next door neighbor. More fun for the kiddos + adults alike! =)

Loving these sister’s hair accessories (and Taylor’s reception dress!)

It was a pretty great day ๐Ÿ™‚

T+B, thanks for having me there to capture your day. I had a great time! Congrats again! ๐Ÿ™‚
