Scenes from our first Christmas

Nate & I had three-times-a-Christmas this year! What a way to start some good traditions for our little life together. A few days before real Christmas, we drove up to New Hampshire to celebrate with my side of the family. Lots of cheese & bread & eggnog was consumed. And, probably for the first time in my life, the gifts I gave were a big hit! =)

Christmas morning was just for Nate & I. It only took us about 20 minutes to open all our gifts, and then we made pancakes! A Christmas breakfast that will hopefully become a tradition. And also, if you can guess, I really like penguins…

Later in the afternoon we went over to Nate’s parents’ house to celebrate. With the soundtrack to A Charlie Brown Christmas in the background, we prepped and decorated for a big dinner that night, a dinner that my parents a sister came to as well!

So basically, it was a great few days of Christmas. It always goes by too quickly, and I can’t wait to do it all again next year! =) Hope you all had a great holiday season as well!
