*I have ended my #SRPNeighbors project*
In the earlier days of social distancing, my family and I started walking around our neighborhood even more than usual, so I figured, why not meet and photograph (from 6ft away ↔️) my neighbors along the way? I put out a call on the neighborhood fb page and so many people were interested.
I photographed 25 families total over the course of 3ish weeks. I met so many cool and strong and kind and fun people. My neighborhood got smaller with each household I photographed, because now I can say, I’ve met them, I know them, that’s so and so’s house. I don’t think I would have been able to say that had this *event* never happened. Which I’m not proud to admit, but it’s the truth. A silver lining in all of this, I suppose.
I have officially ended my #SRPneighbors photo project to stay safer about Covid19, but the families I met through this project were such a bright moment in this uncertain time. I’ll see you at the beach when this is all over, y’all!
