I can’t believe I’m about to say this but…. My baby boy is ONE! In Julien’s first year of life, he traveled via plane to California (2.5 months old), Georgia (4mo), and Michigan (9mo), and to New Hampshire via car. His first tooth popped in the day he turned 6 months old, which was also the day he got his helmet to correct his plagiocephaly (flat head) – which JUST came off yesterday! He took his first steps at 10.5 months and is now walking as much as his little legs have the energy for. Around 3 months old he was diagnosed with eczema, and we recently found out he has a lot of food allergies 🙁
Nonetheless, he’s a smiley boy who loves to greet people with an outstretched arm (we’re still working on the waving part). He loves the water, and swam in two NH lakes during his first ever summer. He is very musical and will dance to anything with the slightest beat. He’s been known to dance to the sound of his dad typing on the keyboard and of the spoon scraping the bottom of the oatmeal bowl 🙂 He has quite the set of pipes that he will gladly share with you when he’s hungry or excited :O
Julien, you are so special to us. Thanks for being our tiny rainbow babe. We love you!
Before I go, I just need to let all the new moms out there know that you are loved and needed and wanted and GOOD AT THIS and beautiful and STRONG and so so so loved. I’m here for you if you need someone to hear you. <3 <3 <3
