Alyssa and Jide are married! They are each amazing humans separately and together they are the sweetest, smiliest and most gracious couple ever. Their wedding was on a wonderfully perfect fall day in New Hampshire, the kind that every New Englander dreams about.
This bridal party is super special to me. I grew up with most of these ladies and it’s been the best ever to keep in touch since then and share each other’s big life moments together!!
My second shooter, Courtney, hung out with Jide and his guys and got these great shots!
World’s cutest ring bearer and flower girl, I am SURE of it.
Such a special, emotional walk down the aisle.
Legit perfect fall day <3
These two are SO easy to photograph!
I’m usually up close and personal when it comes to portraits, but I love the openness and freedom of this next photo!
I think this one is my ultimate fave from the day!!!
The reception was classy and gorgeous. I loved their choice of using sky high floral arrangements!
First dance vibes! They are so sweet together. And I love when the bridal party stands around the newlyweds. It brings another level of happiness to the photos!
Then the dance party began! And it was a GOOD one.
I will be sharing another blog post from A+J’s traditional Nigerian engagement ceremony, so stay tuned for that in the coming weeks! <3
This wedding was a particular milestone for me as a human and as a photographer, because just 3 weeks earlier I had a baby! So it was my first wedding post-baby, and first time away from him for more than like, an hour. I guess photographing a wedding 3 weeks postpartum is kinda crazy? I was more nervous (and more prepared!) for this day than I was to give birth. I’m not kidding :O I definitely have to thank a few people for making that possible. My sister, who was my assistant for the day and carried all my heavy bags. Courtney, who was a rockstar second shooter. Nate, my parents, and the Jaeger’s for making sure Julien was well cared for during those 9 hours I was away! And of course, Alyssa & Jide, for being super gracious and understanding and trusting! Thanks yaaaaalll <3
