HELLO WORLD. I HAVE SOME NEWS.
2018 is officially the year of an off-site office for my little photo biz! I’m so excited!
I’m sharing the space with Karen, an interior designer in Natick (Copper Dot Interiors). Karen and I met through a blogging networking group a few years ago. We found out we lived near each other and have kept in touch since! She’s been running her design/house flipping business from her home, but needed a more dedicated space to grow into. So just before the holidays she asked me if I’d be interested in sharing an office with her! I loved the idea, so I crunched numbers and talked to the people who know me and my business the best, and decided it was a go!
The office is small, but big enough for two slightly messy creative women 😉 It overlooks a busy stretch of Natick Center, which is a pretty cool location. I’m looking forward to a lot of aspects of having this shared space. It will be great to have that creative community, and I love that I’ll be able to meet clients there (instead of worrying whether or not we’ll be able to get a table at Starbucks). I’m excited develop this new layer to my brand and overall SRP experience. And! Karen and I have already decided we want to host networking events for other Natick Lady Bosses, so that will be fun!
Karen and I will be gradually moving in over the next couple weeks. I’m sharing these ‘before’ photos, and since Karen is an interior designer, you can bet the ‘after’ is going to be gorgeous! (I’ll be of no help in that area, ha) We’re planning to paint the walls white and cover the dark blue carpet with a brighter, more modern designed area rug. I’ll keep you updated 🙂
I’ll be emailing my email list in the next few weeks with all the cool details of what this office means for you, my clients. Sign up for my list asap and be on the lookout for that!
Thanks for reading this cool news!
