In less than two weeks, Nate and I will be embarking on a pretty rad European adventure to Italy and Barcelona! While we’re in Italy we’ll be visiting Siena, Florence, Rome, Cinque Terre and Sorrento. And then we’ll be going to my beloved city of Barcelona!!
What’s cool is that Nate previously split a week between Rome and Florence, while I spent 6 weeks in Barcelona (both of us were in Europe for study abroad trips through Syracuse University!) So we’re both going back to places we know, while also getting to experience Siena, Cinque Terre and Sorrento for the first time together.
To celebrate this upcoming trip, I though sharing some Flashback Friday moments of our first times in those cities!
19/20 year old me, hanging out at Park Guell in Barcelona and at the Catedral de Girona in Girona. (Fun fact, I celebrated my 20th birthday two weeks into my six week trip in Barcelona!)

Your trip sounds awesome! I lived in Denmark for a few months and traveled all around northern Europe, but I haven’t made it to Italy and Spain yet!
