Natalie and Matt are married! Oh my gosh, these two are the absolute cutest together. They have been together since high school and as you can guess, their wedding was much anticipated by all their family and friends! The location of their wedding was special to them, as they’ve spent many summers together in and around Asbury Park. The Berkley Beachfront Hotel was classy and beautiful, with so many great architectural details! Enjoy these favorite frames from their gorgeous, special day!
Natalie and her bridesmaids started their day pretty early, and I joined them a little later to capture the “prep” process! I love the details of these bridesmaid dresses!
But of course I had to take a photo of the sleepy ring bearer!
Matt wrote the sweetest note to his bride and she couldn’t help but tear up! She kept saying “He’s just so NICE!” <3<3
I met the guys in the lobby for bit and we took some artsy groomsman photos. The shadow one was their idea! 🙂
Then it was back with the gals and time for Natalie to get into her gown!
Gram helped with Natalie’s necklace. Love this frame.
N+M chose to see each other before the ceremony, which is always a good idea (especially at winter weddings)! The lobby at the Berkley was amazing and I loved taking photos there!
Just so cute together!
Natalieeeee!!! You are stunning!
Look at this room!!
Maybe my favorite bridesmaid shot ever?
We walked on the roof for 45 seconds before someone from the hotel yelled at us, oops. Worth it though, because these are two of my favorite images from the day!
Then it was ceremony time!
Matt’s dad officiated the ceremony. It was very heartfelt and God-centered. I may have cried a little. Matt’s sister Bria read a sweet poem and then they had a sand ceremony! They each poured two separate vases of sand into one, to signify their two lives coming together!
After the ceremony, the three of us stole away for a few minutes across the street, to a wonderfully decorated space full of small local shops. Natalie and Matt were a big hit for the 10 minutes we were in there! P.S. Those Christmas lights!
When we got back to the hotel I grabbed a few images of the amazing decor Natalie and Matt so carefully planned out, and then the party started.
N+M prepared a choreographed first dance and they didn’t miss a step!
I love parent dances <3
There is a tradition in the Meyer family to cut the wedding cake with a family heirloom sword. Every couple in the family who has cut their cake with this sword are still married! It’s pretty epic!!
The rest of the night was full of bouquet tosses, crazy colored lights and LOTS of dancing!
And a sparkler send off ended this wonderful day.
Congrats again Natalie + Matt! I hope you had an amazing Hawaiian honeymoon! <3
