“I wanna love you, forever I do.
And I wanna spend all of my days with you.
I’ll carry your burdens, be the wind at your back.
I wanna spend my forever like that.”

Ashleigh and Ian are married! They are the most gracious couple who complement each other in the best ways and mesh together in the best ways. They know each other and love each other and encourage each other well. It makes my heart happy knowing that my across-the-street childhood best friend found her person and that he loves her so much! *cue tears*
A+I were officially married last fall in a small ceremony, and have since been knee deep in A) moving to a new state B) starting new careers and C) planning their amazing summer soirée! Their goal was to celebrate with all their closest friends and family and it was the perfect summer day on the Cape to do so.
I started off the day photographing Ashleigh and her gals while they got ready at the Inn at Onset Bay in Onset, MA. Her maid of honor Christine is a talented hair stylist and did all the girls’ hair!
Ashleigh spent most of her morning refining her wedding vows that she would read to Ian later that day. I love this quiet moment with her pup Lucy by her side!
Speaking of her pup Lucy… she was a bridesmaid!! Ashleigh even got her a dress!
The Mass Maritime Academy campus is huge and has amazing views of the ocean. Perfect photo ops!
A+I decided to see each other before the ceremony. Ian was chilling in the Adirondack chairs when Ashleigh and Lucy walked to meet him. I love his reaction!
This is a fave. Definitely.
Eeeee! I love this pic of A and her gals <3
I don’t know their friendship very well, but I have a feeling this sums it up. 😉
After bridal party portraits, we headed over to the Beachmoor for the celebration!
Since they were already married, they walked down the aisle together!
Look at that VIEW!
Favorite ceremony photos right here. I love Ian’s enthusiasm!! 😉
We did their bride and groom portraits down on the beach! I love the romantic feel these images have, not to mention the couple is pretty cute as well.
Fave!! Happiness!
The nautical details brought together the outdoor setting with the indoor setting. Remember those Adirondack chairs used in their First Look? Look at how well that connected! 🙂
Amazing florals by Vintage Flowers of Osterville.
Let the party begin!
Ian’s groomsman serenaded their first dance with Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud! It was so great! P.S. Check out that killer sunset behind them.
Yeah, THAT sunset. How did we get so lucky?!
Ashleigh + Ian, thank you so much for having me capture your sweet celebration. I love you both!
And thanks to this awesome team of vendors for making the day gorgeous!
