Big news for this little biz! After a lot of brainstorming and dreaming and planning, I’m excited to announce that for the first time ever, I’ll be hosting a HEADSHOT MARATHON this spring!! That’s right, Saturday, April 11th will be entirely dedicated to creating awesome portraits for all of you! And I am seriously SO excited.
I’ll spend 20 minutes with each person who signs up, getting to know you (and telling you really funny probably bad jokes that will hopefully make you laugh). The goal? To create awesome, stunning photos of yourself that you LOVE. The images could be for business and networking purposes or simply because Grandma wants a new photo of you for her fireplace mantle. Any reason is a good reason!
I’ve picked three locations that all have a different ‘vibe’, with the idea that those interested will pick the spot that fits their personality and/or job the best.
Watertown Mural: This huge, colorful, hand-painted mural is a perfect spot for the creatives. It will give your photos an artsy, urban feel.
Wellesley College: This location will suit the more traditional types. Think stone buildings, amazing architecture and old world charm.
Sudbury Aqueduct (actually in Newton): An adventurous, nature-y spot in the woods, ideal for the outdoorsy crew! (I’ll be sure to give good directions!)
The most EXCITING part of this headshot marathon is that payment is a donation of your choice. All donations are going directly to The School Sessions, an organization that is raising money to build a school in Haiti. I am so excited to be partnering with them because their mission hits me right in the heart. I hope you’ll check out their website for more information about what they’re doing! SO, there is no pressure to donate. If you don’t have the money, but really need a new photo of yourself, please still sign up for a spot! For those of you who are able, any contribution is appreciated, and like I said, goes right to The School Sessions!
To secure your spot, you simply need to email me with the location you are most interested in. I will then put you on the list and email you more information about the location and times, and a link to where you can make your donation.
Please note that these sessions are not intended for families, and limited to individuals looking for an awesome new photo of themselves. If you and your spouse both want portraits, you can obviously come at the same place/time, but need to book separate slots. Thanks for understanding!
