Honor and Ryan were married in a sweet, family-centered ceremony on a perfect September day! Not only the perfect day, but exactly 6 years to the day that they met (at a mutual friends’ wedding.) How well was that planned?! 😉 We started the day at Honor’s childhood home, a renovated carriage house in the heart of Beacon Hill. Talk about classic Boston! Parents, aunts, nephews, nieces, and almost-brother-and-sister-in-laws all gathered around while Honor and Ryan said their vows.
H+R, thank you so much for inviting me into this special time of your life! I hope you love this sneak peek!
Ryan’s mom was there to help Honor choose which earrings to wear 🙂
This is Honor’s aunt, seeing her in her wedding gown for the first time. Many years ago, she also got ready for her wedding in this very space!
Little Henry man was hungry, I think 🙂
Last-minute pedicures!
The ring bearer and the flower girl had pretty tough jobs. And they did them so well!
Portrait time in Beacon Hill couldn’t have been better! Our original plan was to walk a few blocks to the Public Gardens, but there happened to be a big music festival going on that day. So we wandered the backstreets and found all the coolest windows and walls to frame H+R’s love! This window wins!
LOVE the right one!
Both Honor and Ryan work in the restaurant industry! Ryan owns Pennypackers, a food truck and restaurant in Somerville, MA, and Honor is a writer for BostonChefs.com. So it would only make sense that their rocking reception was held at the city-chic Belly Wine Bar in Cambridge, MA!
Did I mention they had a gourmet donut cake? And did I mention that you could smell it’s goodness from a mile away? I’m not joking, best idea for a cake I’ve ever seen.
After a heartwarming speech from Honor’s dad, the rest of the night was filled with fun, food and lots of friends.
H+R, your day was so perfectly ‘you guys’ and I loved being there to capture it all. Lots of love!
