Remember at the beginning of this month when I vowed not to call October “busy” but “wildly productive”? Well, I stuck to my guns. I may have let “busy” slip once or twice, but for the most part, “productive” was my main squeeze. Along with the 3 weddings I second-shot and many lifestyle sessions that took place this month, Nate and I also got around to having some of our own fun. Yay fall!
We walked the Noanet Trails in Dover… this was also the first day we got our shiny new smart phones, so we were both enamored. But we kept them in our pockets for most of the hike, because, QUALITY TIME! 🙂
Perfect NE autumn, yes?
I spent a sunny day with this little love. We did puzzles and went to the park and played basketball!
Hey guess what? I’m an assistant swim coach! A few nights a week I hang out with kids who love to swim and teach them stuff! (lots of stuff). Each time I’m at the pool, it brings me back to my swimmer days. I really miss it and and so glad for this opportunity!
My hometown is famous for two things: Jumanji and pumpkins. And this year, Nate finally got to experience the Pumpkin Fest! 30,000 pumpkins on Main Street, silly/scary/crazy costumes, fried foods and hot cider. Oh, and the BEST people watching ever. Can you tell we’re ‘Cuse alum? 😉
This summer on our DC trip, Nate and his siblings reconnected with some of their cousins who live in Detroit. Last weekend, they came to visit us in Boston! On Friday we showed them the harbor walk, ate at Quincy Market for lunch, and checked out Harpoon Brewery for some fun later in the day.
And to round this post off, the gorgeous Boston Gardens. iPhone picture I snapped on Saturday evening. Believe it!
Was your October productive? I’d love to hear about it!

Very much so.. filled with lots of work (and fun) too. 🙂 The Boston Gardens look stunning the fall! Wish I could see them in person. 🙂
