When Melissa first emailed me, the newest addition to their family had yet to make her entrance into the world. So as soon as Isla was born, we scheduled an in-home family session to celebrate!
Big Sis Sasha was a delight to photograph and clearly is in love with her little sister…
…as confirmed by her cute giggle face! Love it.
Mom mentioned that her favorite photo of Sasha when she was a baby was taken while she was laying on this rug… so I’m hoping these photos can live up to the challenge and also become faves!
I looove in-home sessions. In spaces that are so familiar to kids, like Mom+Dad’s room, it’s easy to create photos that are REAL! Real life, people, that’s what I’m all about.

And to finish this post… big doggie sis Molly LOVES these little ones. She’s so patient with them and is very generous with her kisses. I love this snuggle fest on the couch. (real life. remember? 😉 )
