Happy Friday!! And welcome to our second ‘super secret project’! TarynAlyse Weddings was genius in thinking of this bright and colorful candy-inspired gender reveal party. These types of parties are all the rage these days and I loved being able to shoot this table set-up! I love that she chose BRIGHT pink and blue, because pastels definitely get overused (in my opinion). I hope you take away some good ideas, and as always, enjoy!
A few behind the scenes memories: Taryn’s husband Steve made all the cupcakes (twice, actually, because the first batch didn’t look good enough for him haha) and cake for the trifle and cake bites. Taryn & I searched and searched for the perfect colored balloons. As soon as we went outside for the shoot, it got really windy, and the balloons popped on the randomly spiky Florida grass. =( And yes, we DID eat sweets for the next three days. Not even joking. Cupcakes for breakfast, always a good idea! =)
