Photography is all about the “little things”…
Maybe we’re talking about something that’s physically small. A sticky-note on the fridge that says “I love you”. Your shiny wedding bands. Your newborn’s itty bitty toes.
Maybe to you it means moments that could potentially go unnoticed. A wink from your dad as he gives you away. The quick wiping away of a tear. A high-five from your older brother.
They could be events that happen almost every day that you don’t even realize need remembering. Kids splashing each other during bath time. Your Grandma kissing Grandpa’s forehead. Making cookies with your fiancé.
Whatever the term “little things” brings to your mind, we all have them. My photography journey started because I wanted to remember my little things. A spontaneous walk around town. The flowers in my front yard. Lazy Sundays with my boyfriend (who is now my husband!) My first apartment, or just my favorite cup of chai.
I so believe in remembering the little things. That’s why I do what I do. Can I help you remember yours?
