How. is. it. still. JUNE.
This month has gone by verrrrryy slowly. My birthday (June 1st) feels like a year ago. I think the fact that we were really busy & on the go for most of the month made it feel long. It was a good busy though! You know. That kind.

Highlights from June 23-29
– Friday date night in Boston – we ate dinner at the Italian marketplace called Eataly in the Pru. // Here’s my expert* Bostonian review: If you’re visiting Boston for the first time (or even just driving in from the suburbs, like us) and you want a Boston-Italian experience and a really great Italian mean, 100 percent go to the North End. If you’re already downtown and need a yummy lunch in between meetings, do Eataly. Eataly isn’t bad, it’s just not a destination. We will be sticking with our couple faves in the North End from now on, but I am glad we tried Eataly out! *not a true expert, but like to think of myself as one.
– Public art on the Greenway! Read more here.

– Saturday night hangs with Aubrey, watching John Mulaney’s Comeback Kid.
– A rainy Sunday afternoon picnic at Ashland State Park with Nate’s family.
– Coffee and lunch with Mary at Concord Teacakes.
– 3 portrait sessions, 1 bat mitzvah and 1 family session. (and you wonder why all these photos are from my phone… it was a busy week!)

– I got rained out of my market on Tuesday! Got there, it started to rain, then it started to thunder, then it started to pour, then I left. Skies were crazy and the storm got even bigger later on in the day. We dodged raindrops to get ice cream with Mary!

– Nate is in the market for new glasses. It feels like we’ve been to every eyeglass shop in a 10 mile radius. 😉 Do we like these ones?
– Harry Potter’s 20th anniversary! Did a couple doodles to celebrate. HP is a special gem and I’m so lucky to have grown up with the books.
