Welcome Sloan! // Newton Newborn Photography

One of the best parts of being a family photographer is watching families grow, whether that be kids growing up from year to year, or actually adding more people to the family!  I first met Lexie and Steve a little over a month ago, when little Sloan was still in the womb. I’m not even sure she had a name yet! And now, she’s here! Playing with her fingers, cozied up in her blankets, snuggling with Mom and Dad.

In-home sessions, especially with newborns, are some of my favorite sessions. They allow me to step into new parents’ lives and document what the first 2 weeks of life with their new baby have looked like. I see all the newness and overflowing love they have for their little one. It’s such an HONOR to capture these moments! (P.S. I feel like I say this all the time… but I really do mean it!)

Favorite of the day. Sloan is up close so you can see her pretty face, but you can still see mom and dad adoring her in the background. So much closeness and togetherness. I JUST LOVE THIS PICTURE.

Mom and Dad said Sloan usually holds her hands up close to her face. Look how dainty she is!

There’s a little smile! What a cutie!

Lexie and Steve’s first babies. 🙂 Jack and Luther!

Had to add this one in. Neither baby nor pup look super thrilled, but eventually they will be besties and will have this image to look back on for ever!

L+S – You produced one adorable little nugget! Can’t wait to watch her grow up! 🙂
